Newport to Ensenada Yacht Race

The race begins in Newport Beach, California on April 25, 2008 at noon, and concludes with an award ceremony on Sunday, April 27 in the afternoon at the Hotel Bahia in Ensenada. Sit by the waterfront to see the yachts come into port and enjoy the local celebration for this world-renowned event. This 125-nautical-mile race attracts approximately 450 sailboats in nearly two dozen classes. A collective exhibition of more than three dozen paintings and sculptures created between 1961 and 1985 by more than two dozen of Mexico’s most distinguished artists in the Sala de Exposiciones of Ensenada’s Centro Estatal de las Artes (CEARTE) on the corner of Blvd. Costero (Lázaro Cárdenas) & Av.
